The Sounds Of A Morning Walk - Print

This print was inspired by the local bushland and is full of colour. Everywhere we walk there are birds, forests, shrubs and overgrown greenery. This painting captures eight birds and flora endemic to the South West of Western Australia and it is titled “The Sounds Of A Morning Walk”.

The features from left to right include the Western Wattle Bird, Banksia, Snotty gobble, Black Throated Whipbird (Endangered), White Breasted Robin, Western Thornbill, Kingia australis, Hakea laurina, Cephalotus follicularis, Red Capped Parrot, Red Winged Fairywren, Western Bristlebird, Wattle and Baudin’s Cockatoo.

This artwork was originally painted with acrylic on wood by Alicia Rogerson. Her art is bold, vibrant and often inspired by nature.
