Australia has some of the tallest and most unique trees in the world. This painting explores the Brush Box. As I was creating these paintings I wanted to capture the beauty in the trees, give a sense of magic in place, but also inspire the viewer to dream about walking amongst them.
This is an original acrylic painting on top artist quality watercolour paper of the Brush Box tree. I wanted to capture the curves, bumps and character of the branches as they lift upwards.
This illustration features in the "The Book of Australian Trees".
Painted with acrylic on beautiful 300gsm watercolour paper. It is A3 in size (29.7 x 42cm) and will be posted in a flat non bendable mailer. It is signed and dated and will have a certificate of authentication.
