Australia has some of the tallest and most unique trees in the world. As part of exploring them I've painted these beautiful leaves from the Flame Tree. With a sense of movement they fall down slowly drifting to the ground. In bold bright fresh tones of green with a sense of realism as the light and shadows fall on the surface.
This is an original acrylic painting on top artist quality watercolour paper of the leaves from the Flame Tree.
Elements of this illustration feature in the "The Book of Australian Trees".
Painted with acrylic on beautiful 300gsm watercolour paper. It is A3 in size (29.7 x 42cm) and will be posted in a flat non bendable mailer. It is signed and dated and will have a certificate of authentication.
