Moreton Bay Fig Tree - original Illustration

A$450.00

Australia has some of the tallest and most unique trees in the world. One of my favourite childhood memories is curling into the nook of roots at the bottom of the Moreton Bay Fig and relaxing under its giant branches. The aim for this illustration was to capture the heavy feeling of the roots and the incredible layers and movement of growth.

This is an original acrylic painting on top artist quality watercolour paper of the Moreton Bay Fig Tree.

This illustration features in the "The Book of Australian Trees".

Painted with acrylic on beautiful 300gsm watercolour paper. It is A3 in size (29.7 x 42cm) and will be posted in a flat non bendable mailer. It is signed and dated and will have a certificate of authentication.
