This is a King Protea flower painted in rich pink hues with green leaves and bright blue background. I am inspired by these unusual flowers and they reside outside my mailbox. I wanted to paint this in a way to explore a sense of movement, showcasing the texture in the petals and the heaviness of the plant.
It is titled "Swaying In The Moonlight".
Painted with acrylic on canvas with d-rings and wire so that you can hang it straight onto a wall. The edges of the canvas have been cleanly painted. It measures 61cm x 91cm x 4cm (24" x 36" x 1.5"). It is signed and dated and will have a certificate of authentication.
