Twinkling Night original iridescent painting

This illustration explores communication between mushrooms under a network of trees. Inspired by recent research that infers that the root systems of nature are connected. I wanted to capture the mystical moment of this process by painting the scene “Twinkling Night”.

Painted with iridescent (sparkling) watercolours on beautiful 300gsm watercolour paper. It is A3 in size (29.7 x 42cm) and will be posted in a flat non bendable mailer. It is signed and dated and will have a certificate of authentication.
